EMAILS FROM AFAR

Anyone who has travelled to third world countries can appreciate the frustration of typing up an email only to have the power cut out precisely two seconds before you hit send, causing you to have the type the entire email again.

Or trying to type an email, when half of the keys are missing on the keyboard or all the keys are in strange places.

The emails are always rushed as you have paid your valuable dollars to send your witty emails back home and you spend the whole ten minutes at the internet cafe watching the clock tick over before your time runs out.

‘Emails from Afar’ are a couple of my emails sent to friends and family back at home.
