Sometimes in getting lost, you discover you are exactly where you needed to be
So last weekend I drove home from my yoga retreat, I put into my phone my current location and I said to it – take me home GPS magical phone, now I am pretty sure I put in my address in Brisbane where I live most of the time.
(quick sidebar – for the last month or so, I have been also living part-time down the coast at a place called Currumbin) so …..
As I said – I am 99.99% sure I put in my Brisbane address, yet for whatever reason my GPS wigged out on me, my car ever the eager conspirator for a great road trip adventure went along with the mayhem and they both took me on a magical tour through cane fields, up mountains and deep down into some valleys.
Did I mind?
Heck no! I love a good road trip at the best of times (actually at all of the times) and I was still on a natural high from my yoga weekend.
The crazy beautiful divine intervention part of this story is that my mystery tour lead me to Currumbin; my part-time home!
A sign it should be my permanent home? I like to think so!
So again I wonder if sometimes in getting lost that perhaps you do discover exactly where you are meant to be.
I had the most beautiful drive home through parts of my country I had never even seen, all fuelling my desire to explore to dangerous levels.
Don’t ever be afraid of being lost, of taking a slight detour in your path, as you never know what beauty is waiting for you around the next corner.
