A photographic journey through the Fraser Island rainforest
A 45 minute walk, two lost tourists, one hundred photos and two hundred Mosquitos later……
So the lost tourists were surprisingly not us, and we did find them a little while later, the mosquitoes did ravish us, and the rainforest did captivate us.
I understand these trees in the rainforest, growing taller to reach the sunlight – not that I ever really grew tall, but I will climb great lengths to feel the sun on the face. It nourishes me. It gives me strength and makes me feel alive.
I love the uniqueness of a rainforest, each tree and plant different, each supporting the other in a natural, beautiful way.
I love that every person on our tour saw the rainforest through different eyes, each finding beauty in different places.
Each journey a journey of discovery.
