Road trip day one – Brisbane to Noosa

Yesterday morning after a less than ideal last half of the year my husband and I jumped in the car and headed north for a mini road trip beach adventure.

Stopping at Maleny for quick coffee with family we got attacked my by brothers terrorist dog and kept driving north.

I believe that when you make the effort to do the things that truly bring joy to your life and alight your soul with happiness, the universe rewards you in kind!

We left Maleny and drove to Noosa.

Noosa; the weather, the universe were all on my side that afternoon. Beautiful waves, sunset, company.

I couldn’t have asked for more- yet the day kept morphing before my eyes, what was beautiful before became stunning, more and more of natures beauty was dancing across my eyes and I struggled to remain calm and take it all in.

These photos are all from my iPhone I have not yet even uploaded or looked at, for I know the beauty I captured that day, I could tell my simply looking at my eyes in the mirror, the way my eyes change colour when I feel truly alive, excited, and at one with every little thing.

So I leave you here at Noosa; after a day that began with rain and ended in colour, with my tired eyes that turned green from love, excitement, freedom and joy.

With the thought that after day one anything was possible.

Day 2 was just as spectacular.

As I write to you from the end of day two’s adventure from further north up the Queensland coast- my story as always is only just beginning.
