Moroccan dreams

With my excitement for just about everything and my desire to explore and travel at an all time high, last night my thoughts were drifting to Morocco.

As I live in Australia, and a quick trip to Morocco is not as achievable as a quick drive to the coast, as I could not visit Morocco, I bought a little bit of Morocco to me.

I decorated our garden with Moroccan lamps, cooked a delicious (if I do say so myself) Moroccan lamb tagine and as the aromas from the herbs and spices drifted through my house, I imagined I was in an exotic land far far away.

We sat in the Moroccan themed garden, and listened to music, and again I allowed my imagination to transport me to a place I have not even seen, but desperately want to.

I believe if you want something badly enough you will get it, if you are prepared to keep working hard to achieving your dreams you will eventually live them. I also believe that if you are not currently living these dreams, don’t sit and whinge and feel sorry for yourself, create a little piece of magic for yourself in the interim.

Sure I would have liked to see camels wandering aimlessly ( not in my garden, but in Morocco itself) I would like to be getting lost in the chaotic streets, sampling foods, experiencing the culture, but until then, I do what I can.

I live, I get creative, I plan, I save and I dream.
