My traveling canvas

There is a time in every girls life when she needs to throw caution to the wind, when common sense no longer no longer prevails, and you find yourself saying yes while your brain is wildly screaming no!

Traveling allows the reckless side of you to find its way to the surface, break through your skin and leap out with abandon.

Traveling gives you confidence, gives you the courage to be a braver version of you, a less risk averse carbon copy of your former self.

For a foolish risk taker like myself, whose life is already running at a consistent high level of mayhem and chaos, traveling is a blank canvas that allows me to cover the space with total abandon.

When I travel that canvas becomes a jumbled mess of love, adventure, and freedom. My canvas is bright and vivid and my stories and pictures come alive and leap from the page.

My traveling canvas is what I see when I close my eyes at night, and what I dream of when I long to escape again.
